Hello! First of all, thank you for checking The Well Mannered Dog out! Your dog deserves the best. You know that, or you wouldn’t be here, looking into training and dog camp. And you especially would not be reading this page, about me and The Well Mannered Dog. It's arguably the most boring section of the website, next to the legal stuff.

But because you're here and reading this, I firmly believe that people like you deserve and are capable of achieving the best relationship possible with your dog, and it’s possible through fun, creative training and learning experiences! You’re average doggy daycare and day training got a makeover and here is where you’ll find it. My favorite training program by far is Dog Camp. The dogs learn real life skills, in really distracting environments. Instead of drilling obedience, we practice patience at doorways and cars, staying for long durations, loose leash and off leash skills, as well as recall and playing appropriately with others!

I also enjoy providing one on one private lessons for dogs that may not be ready for camp. Either they don't play well with others, they are too young, or it's just not the training program you're looking for!

I have helped a lot of people enjoy fulfilling relationships with their dogs over the years and I’m super excited to reintroduce this dog camp into my routine after a long hiatus for a move, pregnancy, and maternity leave ( It’s been a wild year…).

As an ambitious pet professional, I work hard to keep up to date with the latest education to make sure that my pet dog owners can achieve success. I understand the struggles that pet parents face in today'sbworld and I strive to bridge the gap between where they find themselves and where they want to be. While the Well Mannered Dog has been around for about 5 years, now, I have been working with dogs for nearly 14 years! Between dog walking, pet sitting, work in a vet office, and dog training, I have a well rounded list of relevant experience.

My training programs are based out of my home in Mount Holly where I live with my husband, three dogs, two cats, two horses and a couple of chickens. I come to you, whether you'd prefer training at home or out and about, for lessons as well as providing free pick ups and drop offs for camp!
